First and foremost, thank you for visiting my site and actually going a little deeper than the first page. I would like to take this page to tell you a little about me and what I am like. I feel it is important for people to understand who they are dealing with in business as well as personal settings. |

I have been in the Tampa area since about 1995. Yes, like many, I am a transplant. I am originally from Ohio but have also lived in Texas. I love the Tampa area and all it has to offer.
I am a fully licensed cosmoetologist and had been a full time hair stylist and nail technician. This is my base that also allows me to offer compelte hair and nail services. It is also a base for my creative side, which has led me to face painting. During my years of cosmetology, I successfully went from a simple stylist, to booth renting independently, to a salon owner. I owned two different salons in the Brandon/Lithia area, but found something lacking. I moved on to teaching cosmetology at local academies which I found most rewarding. The interaction with students and customers was truly enjoyable. Although I love doing hair and nails and interacting with all types of people, my creative side was becoming more and more vocal. I found face/body painting quite by accident; and, as I progressed I found true enjoyment in the skill. I enjoy the actual painting aspect, the transforming someone into something else; or adorning them with a intricate picture. I also enjoy the pleasure it brings to my customers. To see there eyes light up when they look in the mirror gives me a feeling I cannot adequately describe in words. As for my personal side, I live with my husband, Jeff, (a wedding minister in the area) and our menagerie of animals. We are currentlky owned by a rescued Pomeranian (Jake), a rescued greyhound (Dexter) and three cats - Alley, Bart and Tabitha. We love to take cruises and also enjoy shopping and flea markets.
